The infallible truth is that God’s power is unfathomable. He is mighty and great in the splendour of His majesty. The patriarchs of old enjoyed the different dimensions of His manifestation. In a nutshell, God is unlimited and can do the impossible/unimaginable and reverse the irreversible! He turns things around within a twinkling of an eye. Prophet Isaiah declared His unlimited act in Isaiah 49:11 “I will make each of My Mountains a road, and My highways shall be elevated.”
Often times, experts in civil engineering dodge problematic mountainous areas during their construction work. God reverses the irreversible in demonstrating His unlimitedness. In the Bible times, there were many instances where natural laws and protocols were broken by God. The gospel truth is that God has neither changed nor His power waned. He is still in the business of intervening in the affairs of His children. He expressed and affirmed His power when He rhetorically asked “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27). I will mention a few cases reflecting God’s unlimited power. The first happened when Joshua was winning the battle against the Amorites, and the day was fast spent, while the battle was yet to end. It is a natural law that the earth rotates round the sun but the law was suspended by God at Joshua’s declaration. “…and he said in the sight of Israel: ‘Sun, stand still over Gibeon; and moon, in the valley of Aijalon’. So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped…” (Joshua 10:12-13). The rotation of the earth was simply put on hold while the sun and the moon were held by divine power. God will recalibrate your time and redeem for you, all seemingly lost opportunities. The second was the experience of the sons of the prophet in 2Kings 6:1-7. It is contrary to the principle of floatation for an iron or a metal object to float on water. With God coming to the scene, through Prophet Elisha, the axe head floated by casting a stick into the water. Can you see the unlimited God at work? Stick, a non-magnetic material, becoming a ‘magnet’ pulling out a heavy axe head. I pray for you today, that God will raise help which will terminate every shame, disgrace and reproach planned for you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Just continue to hold unto God by faith!
