There is no doubt that all power belongs to God, but He has empowered His children to exercise authority and dominion on earth. The first declaration He made after creating man was to be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it, have dominion over everything He created (Genesis 1:26). One of the ways by which God expects us to bring His power to manifestation is by being on top of any situation. When the power of God is at work in you; it is self-evident and does not operate unnoticed.
God raised you up for the purpose of showing forth His glory by demonstration of His power. God’s power resident in you makes the devil submit to you! Are you a carrier of God’s power? The word of God, you know and apply to any circumstance, carries tremendous power! “Where the word of a king is, there is power; and who may say to him, what are you doing?” (Ecclesiastes 8:4). God desires that through us, His power goes out to accomplish the work of deliverance, healing, breakthrough, victory, etc. “And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all” (Luke 6:19). God wants to dazzle the world with the demonstration of His power. The power of God makes us joint heirs with Christ, subjecting everything in the world under our feet (Ephesians 1:19-23). In addition to the word of God, we are divinely empowered by the Holy Spirit who fuels us with power and strength needed for spiritual exploits. Elijah was divinely empowered and heavily anointed as a prophet of fire whose word stopped rain for three and half years. (1Kings 17:1). When it was time to depart from this world, he never tasted death but supernaturally transported by chariot of fire. Daniel was endowed with unequal wisdom that he ruled in Babylonian kingdom with four different kings, and his words were highly respected. Friend, we have been empowered by God to enforce authority over all He has created. Do you exercise the power at all? We need to rule in dominion and power!
“As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3). Beloved, for the power of God to work in us and through us, we must be holy and godly. I mean the Holy Spirit that empowers only takes residence in holy vessels. Live a life of holiness and righteousness! God bless you real good. SHALOM
